Collaborations: Russian Advanced Interactive Listening Series

A team of UW students, alumni, and (former) faculty and academic staff have updated the Russian Advanced Interactive Listening Series (RAILS) — interactive language lessons based on documentaries and interviews about Russian culture and history. The team included: Shannon Donnally Quinn, Michigan State University, graduate students Lidia Gault (Second Language Acquisition) and Isabella Palange (GNS+), with input from Benjamin Rifkin (Hofstra University), Dianna Murphy (UW-Madison Language Institute), Karen Evans-Romaine (GNS+), Victoria Thorstensson (Nazarbayev University), and Anna Tumarkin (GNS+). Supported by the UW-Madison Russian Flagship Program, the database of free lessons is accessible here.
