AY2023-2024 was a busy year of engagements for UW-Madison and partners in Kazakhstan. In addition to wrapping up a 14 year partnership with Nazarbayev University and the signing of a new MOU, IPO helped facilitate faculty mobility, engagement with six public higher education institutions, joined the IIE Kazakhstan – US University Consortium, and even hosted the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the US, Ambassador Yerzhan Ashikbayev, on campus.
