The National Analytical Centre (NAC) (now called National Analytica Corporate Fund—Survey Centre) (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan) provided research support by utilizing a variety of data collection, analysis, and presentation tools on survey research particularly focusing on Kazakhstan. The Survey Centre’s main area of focus is the “study of public opinion in [Kazakhstan] and [to] identify current trends”.
In 2017, NAC was responsible for designing and implementing a data archiving project. The project involved creating a data archive, providing a survey research training program, and serving as a data collection center and policy analysis and evaluation department.
During a technical consultation with the UW–Madison Survey Center (UWSC), UWSC faculty and staff facilitated discussions and workshops on data collection, analysis, and archiving, as well as operational processes (i.e., workflow management, budgeting, staffing needs, outreach, and ethics review) with the NAC team.
